Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for Joanie and all my rescue cats. I have only had four cats from shelters and all the rest showed up, were part of TNR ( I only did the TN part) or adopted after their owner passed away. I love them all.

Joanie and her angel brother, Sammy came from a shelter. I had seen Sammy on Petfinder and went to get him only to find out he had a sister in the cage with him. They were four and a half at the time.  The shelter said it didn’t matter if they stayed together, but there was no way I was leaving her behind. The minute I held her, she purred.

Every night she purrs me to sleep and every morning she licks my face to wake me.

Mom said no screentime for me
